Originally a warden in service of Hervis Daubeny, The Warden was displeased with their position and their master. That search comes to end in Ashfeld, among the warriors of the Blackstone Legion. But after years of fighting endless battles for no worthy cause, The Warden has begun wandering, seeking a purpose that is equal to their talent and genuinely worth fighting for. Wardens are expected to be noble and brave – living embodiments of virtue – and this one has the potential to be that and more. You can check out the official English breakdown from SNK below thanks to NeoGeoNow as well as the Japanese in-depth video from Dengeki Online below. The Warden is a courageous and talented young knight from the lands of the Iron Legion. Like the rest of Season 2's DLC characters in Iroha and Sougetsu, Warden is priced at $5.99 USD by himself or part of Season Pass 2 for $13.99.

We got a glimpse of his Super Special in the trailer yesterday, but now they show off the full fire catapult which appears to do a ridiculous 70 percent damage or so on hit. His Weapon Flipping Technique begins with a straight stab into slashes as a move called Black Stone Bash featured as one of his signature abilities in For Honor. Interestingly, it can even reflect projectiles back at the user. The For Honor rep also received his own unique command parry which can repel any attacks except for lows and can even juggle someone performing a jump in. Shoulder Bash can be charged up and when done all the way will give the special guard breaking abilities which takes less time to pull off when the Rage meter is filled.

One of Warden's most appealing features is his unique combo routes for regular slashes, allowing extra follow-ups once he lands a strike, though he also has a feint mechanic to catch the opponent off guard instead of going for all three hits. SNK Community Manager KrispyKaiser, Director Nobuyuki Kuroki and Designer Soranaka Kaito discussed Warden's inclusion in the NGPX post-stream showcase before digging into his move set.
